Magnificent post, Rita! I am sure the Minoans and Mycenaeans also used papyrus, but sadly it could not have lasted, due to the humidity in their part of the Mediterranean. Richard

Another extremely significant post, considering that the Minoans and Mycenaeans probably also used papyrus. Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing, since their maritime climate was extremely inhospitable to the preservation of papyrus. Richard
