Ten precious objects from the Wedgwood Collection | Culture24.

As you all know I have posted articles about  both Ancient and Antique pottery many times here on my blog, among which is the beautiful Wedgewood pottery. This is an appropriate update if any one wishes to go to see this collection.

I remember seeing that black jasper war vase at the Wedgwood factory and museum when we visited many years ago. Phyllis contributed mightily to the UK economy at the Spode seconds shop just down the road. Our visit to Stoke was one of the highlights of that particular trip to England. I understand that most of the potteries have closed since our visit in the mid 90s. Sad times.

Hello Mark. Yes its a pity some of these potteries are no longer there. But I think the memories of these wonderful pieces will always be with us and many of them are displayed in Museums thank goodness for future generations to appreciate. Thanks for commenting.
