thanks,Let me know what you find on Siman Ware, I could only find it used for serving food not cooking it. That was on the Museum of London’s web site under arrives.

Hi Joanne, As far as I know myself Samian ware was used as table ware and I could not find any cooking pots as such .However there is one thought that puddings were cooked in Samian but it does not say WHAT IN so maybe bowls were used for this. Maybe its worth looking further into this article. What are your husbands thoughts on this Joanne ?
